Clash Royale August 2026 season introduces Hero Berserker, Hero Valkyrie, and Evolution Elite Barbarians

A new TV Royale episode has revealed what’s coming to Clash Royale in August 2026, and this time the season is focused entirely on chaos. Supercell is introducing two new Heroes, a brand-new Evolution, and the Chaos-themed game modes with new competitive events and rewards.

The August update will bring Hero Berserker, Hero Valkyrie, and Evolution Elite Barbarians, alongside Ken’s Chaos Draft League, new Chaos events, and a special Global Tournament. Here’s everything revealed from the upcoming Clash Royale August 2026 update.

Clash Royale August 2026 Season update: What’s set to arrive

Two new Heroes: Berserker and Valkyrie

Hero Berserker and Hero Valkyrie will be making their debuts in the August season. Hero Berserker’s main ability revolves around entering a powerful Berserk Mode. Once activated, her spirit animal appears, increasing her hit speed and allowing her to continue fighting without dropping below 1 HP.

During her ability duration, Berserker cannot be defeated, making her a dangerous frontline unit that can continue applying pressure even when surrounded by enemies. You will need to carefully time your attacks and defenses to deal with her once she enters Berserk Mode. Hero Berserker will be available as a free unlock through Ken’s Chaos Draft League.

Meanwhile, Hero Valkyrie focuses on aggressive movement, with her ability allowing her to gain increased speed and continuously spin through enemy troops while dealing area damage around her.

Unlike Hero Berserker, Hero Valkyrie can still take damage and be defeated while using her ability. However, when there are no nearby targets left to dash toward, she will continue spinning until the ability ends. The new Hero Valkyrie will be available through the Pass Royale.

Evolution upgrade for Elite Barbarians

The next major addition is a new Evolution for one of Clash Royale’s most dangerous cards: Elite Barbarians. Evolved Elite Barbarians will receive a completely new mechanic, allowing them to throw Rage-tipped javelins at enemy troops and Crown Towers before charging forward.

The javelins create a glowing Rage trail across the Arena, boosting their aggression as they move through the battlefield. This gives Elite Barbarians more ranged pressure while still keeping their signature charging playstyle. You will be able to unlock Evolution Elite Barbarians for free through Ken’s Shop during the August season.

Ken’s Chaos Draft League

The August update also introduces Ken’s Chaos Draft League, a new competitive Chaos event. The mode follows the traditional Draft format where you choose four cards for yourself, while the remaining four cards are given to your opponent.

After the draft is complete, you select a modifier that changes how the match plays out. The ranked Ken’s Chaos Draft Season will run for two weeks and feature major rewards, including the chance to unlock Hero Berserker for free.

New CHAOS modes and tournament

Supercell is expanding the Chaos experience with multiple limited-time modes throughout the season. You can expect: Epic Only Chaos, Sudden Death Chaos, and Infinite Elixir Chaos modes.

The update will also allow you to create your own Chaos Draft Tournaments for Clanmates and friends. Chaos gameplay will also appear in Friendly Battles and selected casual modes.

Alongside the seasonal events, Supercell is hosting the first-ever Chaos Mega Draft Global Tournament. The tournament follows the same Chaos Draft concept, where you take turns building your decks before modifiers are introduced into the match. You can compete, earn rewards, and climb the leaderboard.
