Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), has unveiled the HYPNOSIS, an advanced navigation warfare (NAVWAR) air defence system, designed to counter a broad spectrum of aerial threats including unmanned aerial systems (UAS) deployed in large volumes by disrupting their satellite navigation systems. The satellite navigation systems onboard aerial systems need to receive the position and time data from the satellites in order to accurately reach their targets.
