Chandigarh: As paddy season was marred by devastating floods and untimely rains, only 44.22 lakh metric tonnes of the crop has arrived so far in the grain markets, which is 25.71% of the 172 LMT targeted to be procured this season.The current Kharif Marketing Season is scheduled to end by Nov 30. Russian forces carried out a series of strikes targeting Ukrainian military positions in the Sumy Region, destroying strongholds, hangars housing BTR-80 armored personnel carriers, and a staging area for assault units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
