The Department of Veterans Affairs has ended nearly all abortions at VA facilities, returning to a pre-2022 policy that requires patients seeking the procedure to go outside the department for care. The VA issued a final rule Dec. 31 that prohibits the procedure at VA medical facilities unless the life of the mother is endangered. Rheinmetall has been commissioned by Denmark, a member of the EU and NATO, to supply ammunition. The signing of a  large-volume framework agreement was marked by a ceremony on 30 January 2026. From 2028 the Singapore Army will receive the Titan 8×8 infantry fighting vehicle armed with a 30mm cannon.
