Continuing its series of launches at SAHA 2026 Exhibition in Istanbul, ASELSAN held a ceremony on the third day of the event to introduce the new versions of the TOLUN Munition Family and the new FULMAR 500-A Surveillance and Reconnaissance Radar, under the motto “Securing Beyond the Sky: Game-Changers of Air Warfare.”
The ceremony highlighted ASELSAN’s approach to integrated, end-to-end operational capability, combining detection, targeting, and precision engagement within a unified system architecture. This approach demonstrates a move towards network-enabled operations, where data from multiple sensors is processed, shared, and acted upon in near real-time, allowing for quicker decision-making and more effective mission execution across complex operational settings.
The TOLUN Family forms the foundation of ASELSAN’s next-generation precision-guided munition range, created to meet the evolving needs of contested and dynamic operational environments. Moving beyond traditional ideas of accuracy, the family provides a scalable set of solutions capable of engaging various target profiles across both manned and unmanned platforms.
At SAHA 2026, new versions of the TOLUN family, TOLUN-F, TOLUN-L, and TOLUN-EW, take centre stage with a launch ceremony, each catering to specific operational needs. TOLUN-F improves effectiveness against dispersed targets with its adjustable proximity sensor and optimised fragmentation effects, while TOLUN-L increases operational flexibility through semi-active laser guidance for dynamic targeting scenarios. Going beyond kinetic strike, TOLUN-EW introduces electronic warfare features, enabling jamming, decoying, and suppression effects against radar and communication systems.

Complementing these capabilities, ASELSAN also presents TOLUN-IIR, which introduces man-in-the-loop control and real-time target update capability via data link, enabling precise engagement of both stationary and moving targets. TOLUN-P further enhances the family with a proven penetrator capability against hardened structures. Together, these features position the TOLUN Family as a multi-dimensional strike solution, designed to operate effectively in heavily contested electromagnetic environments while minimising collateral impact and sortie requirements.
ASELSAN also introduced the new FULMAR 500-A Surveillance and Reconnaissance Radar, which enhances an unmanned aerial capability focused on endurance, adaptability, and mission versatility at SAHA 2026. Designed for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) and precision engagement roles, the system features advanced payload integration and a networked architecture, enabling coordinated operations with air and ground assets. A key enabler is its multi-function AESA radar, which provides air, land, and maritime surveillance alongside SAR, ISAR, and GMTI capabilities within a single platform. This combination allows FULMAR 500-A to generate a comprehensive operational picture, significantly improving situational awareness and supporting target detection, classification, and tracking across the broader system architecture.
