Robert Bryczek opened as the favourite against Rodolfo Vieira. Ahead of Saturday’s UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas, he’s the underdog. The middleweight fight is scheduled for three rounds on the Raul Rosas Jr. vs. Raoni Barcelos card, with Vieira priced around -160 and Bryczek around +135 on Friday morning. That’s a change worth a second look before anyone backs the grappler at his new price.
The opening line at one outlet had Bryczek at -210 and Vieira at +177. It wasn’t a market-wide starting point: other openings put the pair close to even, while one listed Vieira at -145. A tracked average across 24 markets including Texas sports betting sites had Vieira at -159 and Bryczek at +135. The move was sharpest around September 20 and 21, when Bryczek shifted from odds-on to plus money. Vieira was near -160 by September 23, and the tracked line changed little through September 24.
The method markets show why this matchup is getting attention. Vieira by submission was listed at +220 in one market comparison, close to Bryczek by KO/TKO at +233. Vieira by decision was +488, while Bryczek by decision was +809.
The same comparison listed the fight not going the distance at -245, with a decision at +233. Its under 2.5 rounds was -116 and the over was +150. Elsewhere, a 1.5-round line had the over at -120 and the under at even money.

Vieira, who turns 37 on Friday, brings an 11-5 professional record and nine submission wins. He has finished five UFC opponents by submission, including Armen Petrosyan by arm-triangle choke in February 2024. Yet his last two fights went against him: Bo Nickal knocked him out in November 2025, and Eric McConico beat him by unanimous decision in April.
Bryczek, 36, is 18-7 with 12 knockout or TKO wins. He stopped Brad Tavares in the third round last September, then lost a decision to Cameron Rowston in May. He has a two-inch reach advantage over Vieira.
So the odds have flipped, while the fight remains a test of where it takes place. Vieira’s submission price offers a bigger payout than his moneyline if he can get Bryczek down and finish.
UFC Fight Night takes place Saturday, September 26, at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas. Raul Rosas Jr. faces Raoni Barcelos in the bantamweight main event, with Vieira vs. Bryczek on the main card. The lineup also includes Norma Dumont vs. Ailin Perez, plus the bantamweight and women’s strawweight finals of The Ultimate Fighter.
