UFC camera operators may need hazard pay for shooting the UFC 333 open workouts.
That’s because UFC 333 co-headliner Merab Dvalishvili, who holds the UFC record for takedowns with 119, was on a mission to drop anyone who dared step onto the mats, regardless of whether or not they were strapped with thousands of dollars worth of equipment.
Merab collides with 135-pound champion Petr Yan for the third (and perhaps final) time.
I was kind of hoping the camera would explode in his face like WWF King of the Ring 1993.
More impressive was UFC 333 headliner Movsar Evloev, who challenges Alex Volkanovski for the 145-pound strap, doing front flips on his skull.
My neck hurts just turning around to check the blind spot in my car when changing lanes.
UFC 333 takes place on Oct. 24 in Abu Dhabi (see the finalized fight card and Paramount+ lineup here).
