Mick Terrill and Gustavo Trujillo are cleared for a heavyweight title collision after making weight for BKB 58 in Miami. Unbeaten champion Trujillo weighed 241 pounds, while late replacement Terrill came in at 263 pounds for Saturday’s main event at the James L. Knight Center. Terrill, a former BKB and BKFC heavyweight titleholder, stepped into the championship bout after Mark O’Neill withdrew because of visa issues.

The switch came days before fight night, turning Terrill’s planned role as a ringside commentator into a shot at the BKB Heavyweight World Championship. “The Butcher of Shields” brings an 11-2 bare-knuckle record into Miami, with each of his 11 wins ending by knockout.
Trujillo, known as “The Cuban Assassin,” is 8-0 in bare-knuckle competition and has stopped every opponent in the first round. That leaves the headliner with a combined 19 victories and 19 knockouts between the two men. Terrill said somebody will be going to sleep, while Trujillo said he had wanted the matchup for a long time and expects a war. BKB CEO David Tetreault has called the event an amazing night, while broadcaster Gareth A. Davies described the fight as a potential landmark heavyweight meeting for the sport.
Gamboa, Ladd make weight Yuriorkis Gamboa officially weighed 135 pounds for his bare-knuckle debut against Yesner “Cuajadita” Talavera, who registered 135.8 pounds. Gamboa arrives with a major boxing résumé as an Olympic gold medallist and former two-weight world champion, but Saturday marks his first BKB appearance. Aspen Ladd also made weight at 140 pounds for her BKB debut with Bianca Daimoni, who weighed 139.8.
Ladd is a former UFC title challenger and competed once before in bare-knuckle fighting, stopping Shyanna Bintliff at a BKFC show last November. Robert Duran Jr., the Miami-based son of boxing icon Roberto Duran, checked in at 154.6 pounds for his super welterweight contest with Ryan Spivey, who weighed 153.6. Duran Jr. owns a 3-2 BKB record and a 12-4 professional boxing record, while Spivey enters with a 4-2 bare-knuckle mark.
Title fights on the card Alberto Blas puts the BKB Super Featherweight World Championship on the line against Brandon Birr after weighing 129.4 pounds to Birr’s 129. Yampier Ramirez, who weighed 129 pounds, meets Triston Harrison at 130.6 pounds in another super featherweight bout.
The vacant cruiserweight crown is up for grabs when Yunieski Gonzalez, 182 pounds, faces Ethan George, 183.8. Uly Diaz and Gilberto Fuentes complete the cruiserweight pairing at 182.4 and 185 pounds respectively.
The TikTok prelims include Yordan Fuentes vs. Keegan Vandermeer, Darian Leu-Pierre vs. Kyle McMillan, Taylor Bull vs. Murat Kilimetov and Rudisiel Mora vs. Gio Rosales.
BKB 58 takes place Saturday, August 29, from Miami’s James L. Knight Center. The prelims begin at 6:30 p.m. ET and stream free on TikTok, while the main card starts at 8 p.m. ET on VICE TV and Telemundo Deportes Ahora in North America.
