The Season 4 patch applied adjustments to every character in Street Fighter 6. It also added Yasmine as a new playable character.
Many of Season 3’s top tiers got nerfed. Ed, for example, has dropped significantly due to his nerfs. As such, many people are beginning to believe that Ryu might be the game’s strongest character since he didn’t really get hit by notable nerfs.
Chico recently released his Season 4 tier list that certainly indicates as much. In fact, he’s also stated that there’s a significant gap between Ryu and the rest of the roster at this point.
Fighters like Blanka, Terry, Luke, Mai, JP, Kimberly, Cammy and a few others are stated to be in the S tier group. In total, 11 characters can be found in the S tier category, which is the category with the highest number of characters within it.
Yasmine has also been placed on the tier list, but it would seem that Chico isn’t overly impressed with her kit. She’s been relegated to the very bottom of the tier list along with E. Honda in the C tier group.
Of course, there is an important caveat from Chico where he mentions that he hasn’t played against every combatant within this new season. As such, changes to his tier list are likely to happen.
