A fighter who once traded the ring for a recording studio is now the headliner on one of the promotion’s most stacked nights of the month.
Wanchainoi Pongsuphan PK meets Lao striker Petnamkhong Sor Maneekhot in a strawweight Muay Thai main event topping The Inner Circle 26, streaming live from Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium this Friday, August 14. The 25-year-old Wanchainoi walked away from the sport during COVID to pursue music, releasing an album and building a following through cover videos, before serving in the military and eventually returning to the ring full time.
That comeback has produced three straight wins at Lumpinee, including a bonus-earning first-round knockout of Dokmaipa Santiubon at ONE Friday Fights 160 that snapped his opponent’s four-fight winning streak. Petnamkhong, 22, has matched that momentum with his own three-fight streak, highlighted by a second-round TKO of Tonglampoon FA Group at ONE Friday Fights 149 that put the division on notice.
Gingsanglek Wor Kumchamnarn faces test of styles at The Inner Circle 26
The co-main event of The Inner Circle 26 pits PK Saenchai Muaythaigym technician Gingsanglek Wor Kumchamnarn, a 45-13 veteran built around one of the most feared left body kicks in the bantamweight division, against ONE newcomer Dmitri Ramos in a genuine clash of styles.
Gingsanglek enters off a loss to Yodlekpet Or Atchariya but carries a recent three-fight streak that included a bonus-winning spinning backfist knockout of Alexey Balyko and a TKO of Thant Zin, while Ramos brings an unbeaten record built on a dangerous straight left and looks to make an immediate statement in his promotional debut.
