Yasmine is the first of the Season 4 roster joining Street Fighter 6. She’s been accompanied by the balance update earlier today.
AlietteFaye recently compiled character usage stats for the Legend Rank in Street Fighter 6. This provides us with one last look at the Season 3 meta before the Season 4 patch.
JP is the overall most successful character of the Legend Rank as there are 27 players that managed to break through the threshold. M. Bison, Mai Shiranui and Sagat are also indicated to be quite strong as there are 26 players apiece using them.
22 players are using Ed (as well as Chun-Li). Though some players see Ed as one of the strongest characters in the game right now, he’s also seen as one of the most difficult to master right now.
Grappler characters didn’t appear to perform all that well in the Season 3 meta. Guile (a zoner), Lily, Manon and Alex are the least used characters in the Legend Rank.
We’ll just have to see how Yasmine and the Season 4 balance patch will shake things up now that they’re available.
