Leupold just announced the launch of its new LCO Pro F2 red dot sight. The LCO Pro F2 combines excellent optical clarity, Leupold’s famous reliability and purpose-built features in a full-size red dot.

At the heart of the LCO Pro F2 is Leupold’s Professional-Grade Red Dot Optical System, featuring a premium aspheric lens that delivers a crystal-clear image without distortion. The true 1x magnification provides a true-to-life sight picture with unlimited eye relief. A purpose-built housing design maximizes your field of view for greater situational awareness and quicker target acquisition. The aluminum housing has been redesigned to protect the recessed aspheric lens and reduce glare.
Whether used for competitive shooting, personal defense or just plinking at your favorite outdoor range, the LCO Pro F2 has been designed to make sure you can find the dot faster and engage targets rapidly. It is engineered to provide a crisp, visible aiming point and has four reticle options: a 1-MOA dot, a dot with compass points, a circle-dot with compass points, or a standard circle-dot. There are 20 daylight and 10 night-vision illumination settings. A rotary dial allows for quick adjustments in brightness and a Rapid Illumination Dial (RID) feature allows the shooter to cycle quickly through all settings with a half-turn in either direction, if desired. Slower, more deliberate adjustments of the rotary dial allow the illumination level to be tuned to the shooter’s preference.

The LCO Pro F2 features Leupold’s Motion Sensor Technology (MST), which automatically puts the unit to sleep after five minutes of inactivity and reactivates it as soon as movement is sensed, which Leupold claims extends the average battery life on the LCO Pro F2 to 30,000 hours. Also on board is a Lockout Mode, which turns off the LCO Pro F2’s Motion Sensor Technology and prevents unintentional changes once the shooter’s preferred settings have been selected.
The LCO Pro F2 has a rugged, water-resistant housing and is available in both matte black and Flat Dark Earth anodized finishes. Its one-piece machined US aluminum construction is built to handle recoil, impact, and all atmospheric conditions.
