Street Fighter 6 is set to kick off Season 4 officially just over a month from now, and we can get a new taste of what’s coming.
Capcom just released a new video showcasing Yasmine on the character select screen in Street Fighter 6 as well as her Versus face animations.
While Capcom did share Yasmine’s gameplay trailer a week ago, they’re giving us another look at Season 4’s first new character like the DLC from past seasons.
The developers seem to have had a little fun with Yasmine on the character select screen with the cute detail that she stands with her hair down like we saw at the end of her trailer until the new fighter is selected where she ties it back to prepare for action.
This footage also seems to indicate that Street Fighter 6 Season 4 won’t be getting any sort of user interface refresh or overhaul since everything looks to be the same with Yasmine taking her place under the Season 3 cast.
Unlike Ingrid, Yasmine appears to have the usual five different facial animations for the Versus screen feature where she can either look cute or scary.
They provided a look at the UI with Yasmine too in which she does not have a permanent indicator on the screen that shows whether or not she’s in Bayani Mode, but one could show up when her boost is activated.
As we could already see from her Street Fighter website bio, Yasmine is 5’4″ / 163 cm and 130 lbs / 59 kg with her likes being food and family while her dislikes are being indecisive.
This character select screen footage, however, now tells us that Street Fighter’s first Filipina character is a speed-type with a normal difficulty and comfortable in the mid-range.
Yasmine is scheduled to release on August 3 with a roster-wide balance patch followed by Arjun in the Fall, Tifa Lockhart early next year and Bosch closing things out in the Spring.
Players will have a chance to try out Yasmine early since Capcom is offering a special demo for her at Evo 2026 this weekend, so we should be learning more about how she actually functions very soon.
