We have you covered for all of tonight’s UFC Vegas 119 results, including the main event rematch between Manel Kape and Kyoji Horiguchi.
Kape (23-7 MMA) and Horiguchi (36-6 MMA) will be competing for a second time this evening in Las Vegas. The flyweight contenders originally met back on New Years Eve in 2017 under the RIZIN banner, with ‘The Typhoon’ emerging victorious by way of third-round submission (arm-triangle choke).
Manel Kape will enter tonight’s rematch sporting a three-fight winning streak, with all three of those most recent Octagon victories coming by way of KO / TKO. ‘Starboy’ was most previously seen in action this past December, where he scored a first-round knockout victory over former title challenger Brandon Royval (see that here).
Meanwhile, Kyoji Horiguchi currently boasts an eight-fight unbeaten streak, which includes five straight victories. The Japanese standout was most previously seen in action this past February, where he scored a unanimous decision win over Amir Albazi. Prior to that triumph, the 35-year-old was coming off a technical submission victory over Tagir Ulanbekov.

Round one of the UFC Vegas 119 main event begins and Kyoji Horiguchi gets things started with a nice body kick. A lot of feinting early on from both men. Horiguchi scores the next big shot in the form of a right hook. He follows that up with a straight left and then manages to get out of range before Manel Kape rips an attempted counter. The Japanese star lands a nice single leg takedown to close out the opening round.

Round two of the UFC Vegas 119 headliner begins and Kyojo Horiguchi clips Manel Kape with a good shot early that forces a wobble. He cracks him again, this time with a left. Horiguchi takes advantage of that and gets on top of him. He works from half guard and might be trying to set up the same head and arm choke he used to finish their first encounter Kape manages to scramble and get back full guard. ‘Starboy’ proceeds to land some nice elbows from the bottom. The horn sounds to end round two.

Round three of the UFC Vegas 119 main event begins and Manel Kape comes out swinging. Horiguchi answers with a straight right up the middle. Kape circles out and tries to keep distance. He may have just rolled his ankle in the process. He stumbles a little. Horiguchi advances onto him and walks into a big punch! He’s hurt! Kape fires off more shots and down goes Horiguchi! Some ground and pound and this one is all over! WOW!
