I just found out I won 2 tickets to the Sunday Fan Fest at the Ellipse. When you enter the lottery, you had to select which day you wanted tickets for, Saturday or Sunday. I nearly selected Saturday, thinking that would be the night of the fights, but it’s actually Sunday. I wonder how many people selected Saturday only to find out they’ll be a day early and miss the fights. Anyway, I find myself completely torn on whether or not to attend. On the one hand, it’s truly a unique event opportunity. A 1 of 1. I can take my son, who’s 14 and who I’m sure would much rather be playing video games. We can brave the 85,000 fans, security lines, and attack of the killer mosquitoes. Or I can enjoy the fights from the comfort of my own couch, in the AC, with cold beverages at the ready and easier access to all you Maniacs online. If I could figure out how to add a poll to this post, I’d do it. Let me know what you think I should do, freakies.
