ASELSAN is participating in the EFES 2026 Exercise, recognised as one of the world’s most significant military drills, with its most advanced technologies and systems.
The EFES Exercise, organised under the coordination of the Turkish Armed Forces and attracting considerable international attention, again highlights the strength of the Turkish defence industry.
The defence industry showcase, organised by the Presidency of Defence Industries and held concurrently with the Exercise, features ASELSAN among its key participants, drawing substantial interest from visitors and military delegations with its advanced technological solutions.
Field-Proven Systems of ASELSAN
While showcasing its next-generation defence systems at its booth within the exercise area, ASELSAN also demonstrates impressive performance with products actively employed by the Turkish Armed Forces. The success of these systems in scenarios reflecting real operational conditions confirms ASELSAN’s operational reliability and field effectiveness.
ASELSAN’s systems, known for high durability, rapid response, and integrated mission performance, emerge as solutions that meet the demands of the modern battlefield. Their performance, operating in coordination with various units throughout the exercise, again proves the advancements achieved by the Turkish defence industry and ASELSAN.
KOCATEPE Used for the First Time in the Exercise
At EFES, ASELSAN attracted notable attention at the defence industry display with dozens of systems, including electronic warfare and communication systems, electro-optical systems, and command-and-control equipment. During the globally scrutinised exercise, ASELSAN’s KOCATEPE Battlefield Management System was utilised for the first time, providing commanders and command post personnel with a comprehensive operational picture at all battlefield levels.
Various other systems were also showcased at the ASELSAN booth, including KORKUT-25 Air Defence System, KILIÇ AUVs, electro-optical systems, and components of the STEEL DOME architecture.
Developed by ASELSAN, the KORKUT-35 Low Altitude Air Defence System became one of the most notable indigenous systems in the Exercise. Capable of firing airburst ammunition, KORKUT offered effective day-and-night defence against modern aerial threats, including UAVs and missiles.
High Performance from ASELSAN Systems
ARTSoft MAESTRO, ASELSAN’s highly secure messaging, file transfer, and live video communication software, resistant to electronic warfare, was also employed during EFES.
More than thirty ASELSAN systems participated in the Exercise, including ACAR UAV Detection Radar, MİLKED Land-Based Electronic Support System, Modernised Towed Artillery System, KALKAN Air Defence and SERHAT Mortar Detection Radar, ASELPOD Electro-Optical Targeting Pod, İHTAR Counter-UAV System, and the SİPER and HİSAR air defence systems, which are key components of the STEEL DOME architecture.
ASELSAN’s field-proven solutions were closely examined by foreign military delegations and industry representatives. Proven in the field, ASELSAN’s technologies stood out as tangible examples of the Turkish defence industry’s rise in global competition.
