The latest look at Owlcat’s upcoming tactical RPG outlines its factions, central cast, and the war tearing its version of Japan apart.
Another Angle Games and Owlcat Games recently released a new Story Overview Trailer for Shadow of the Road.
The trailer provides an additional view of the world, the various factions, and the central conflict for the upcoming Tactical Role-Playing Game. The trailer was shown off during GameStar’s “Find Your Next Game” Showcase, and shows the world of the game, which is based on 19th-century Japan; however, unlike most other works that are based on this time period, the world of Shadow of the Road combines political unrest, industrialization, and supernatural elements into a single setting.
If you are interested in viewing how these aspects come together in action, a playable Demo for Shadow of the Road is currently available on Steam for Windows PC, while there’s no release date yet.
