Welcome to Midnight Mania!
Let’s start the night off by taking a look back over the three biggest stories of Thursday, April 9, 2026.
By Dana White standards, this feels like a fairly glowing endorsement of Arman Tsarukyan. Perhaps his title shot will materialize after all?
I am already tired of the Josh Hokit experience.
Josh Barnett — coach of UFC Bantamweight Victor Henry — accuses Bryce Mitchell of ducking his pupil:

Prediction: 41-year-old Nicolas Dalby is going to out-work another younger opponent.
Dan Hooker vs. Renato Moicano sounds like a ton of fun, but I think “The Hangman” is correct. One of them will fight Paddy next!
Matt Brown’s clinch trips and throws were so effortless inside the Octagon. An underrated technician!
Slips, rips, and KO clips
Hurt early against a fresh opponent is a tough spot.
This is how you like to a see a boxer down eight rounds on the cards swing when given the opportunity. No holding back!
This is a deeply unpleasant clip, and I would recommend skipping it.

I gave this card a 1 out of 5. I had a fantastic time watching it. That card delivered. So, I would have to give it a 5/5 for entertainment value. Every single fight was interesting to watch.

Oh boy… worst UFC card ever? This is an LFA and Contender Series mash-up (I
love LFA, by the way). There’s just nothing much to write home about here.
Here’s my attempt to be optimistic:
I’m enjoying Chris Duncan’s current run. Yakhyaev, Delano, Ewing and McMillen
are interesting prospects. I think Ewing has his hands full, personally, though.
I like Bekoev, too.
A lot of…
