This report documents the creation, testing, and performance of survey-based patient-reported measures for timeliness of cancer diagnosis, the Patient-Reported Outcome Measures of Timely Experience of Diagnosis (PROMOTE-Dx) for Cancer and the survey instrument used to derive these measures. PROMOTE-Dx can be used by health care organizations and health plans seeking to assess and improve timely diagnosis of cancer.
