Alex and a new balance patch have dropped for Street Fighter 6. This means that Alex can be acquired as a “Master” in the World Tour mode, which effectively serves as the game’s single player adventure.
To unlock access to Alex’s moveset for a player avatar, it’s necessary to meet up with Alex in World Tour. Before this questline can even begin, players will need to complete the story beyond Chapter 7-6: The Novice League Tournament.
From there, the “Wrestle Metro” should become available in Metro City. Start by talking to “Cathy” near the stairs of the stadium.
Upon speaking to her, Cathy will ask the player for a favor which will eventually reward them with a meetup with Alex. The mission will begin with a quest to find Jean in Chinatown (where she apparently got lost).
Afterwards, the player will have to protect Jean from some rowdy fans back at the stadium. This appears to be a fairly simple fight against multiple opponents.
Following this, a cutscene will play that has Alex taking on Andore. Of course, this is the extended cutscene that Capcom released as a way of teasing Alex prior to his release.
Jean and the rest of the crowd ultimately aren’t too happy about Andore’s defeat, but the player avatar is left in awe of Alex’s fighting style.
From there, talk to Jean again to continue the story. After she walks away, the avatar will be approached by Tom, Alex’s friend and father figure.
Tom expresses worry that certain people might’ve gotten too heated at how the match went down. Funnily enough, Tom is concerned that these individuals might get themselves hurt if they were to attack Alex rather than the possibility of Alex himself getting injured.
Eventually, Tom asks the player to find Alex before something like this can happen. Talking with Tom again will reveal that Alex is a big fan of cars, which provides a major hint that Alex might be at “Abigail’s Scrap Metal” near Westbay Promenade.
Talking to a Mad Gear Butterfly will then provide the information that the player just missed Alex. It turns out that some other members of Mad Gear decided to pick a fight with Alex at another location (which can be seen on the map).
Apparently, the Andore family would like a word with Alex about how Andore was treated during the wrestling match. They can be found in the Urban Park at night time.
The player will then have to fight five members of the Andore family in order to learn that Alex went to the “Crow’s Nest,” but he’ll only be there at night.
Simply talk to Crows Burungak to get a new cutscene where the player finally meets with Alex. They’ll then be tasked with a fight against the man himself. Win or lose, Alex will then become a Master for the player.
