Alex will be joining the Street Fighter 6 roster on March 17, 2026. He’ll be the third character that joins Season 3, preceded by Sagat and C. Viper. Ingrid will be the final character that joins in late Spring.
As such, Takayuki Nakayama, director for Street Fighter 6, has been leaving little teases of Alex on his X page. He recently dropped new concept art of Alex.
It wasn’t too surprising to learn that Alex’s Flash Chop will be returning in Street Fighter 6. From what we’ve seen, it will function better than ever in the latest entry of the series.
Evidently, Capcom knew how important Alex’s Flash Chop was from the very beginnings behind the decision to include him as a DLC fighter. One of the concept art pieces has Alex performing the action.
The other concept art sketch sees Alex adjusting his hoodie. Due to this, we’re unable to see Alex’s eyes since his headwear is covering them.
Of course, both sketches has Alex donning his redesigned Street Fighter 6 attire. However, it’s important to highlight how players will also be able to choose the character’s nostalgic costume during gameplay upon release.
