Humble’s latest monthly bundle pairs fast, aggressive tactical combat with old-school first-person dungeon crawling and six more games.
Just like always, so far behind on the news, but I still want to mention how good the March 2026 Humble Choice lineup looks, with an incredible couple of RPG’s that make buying this subscription well worth it.
As I usually do, below is a brief reminder of what Humble Choice is (as I am sure most of you know), but just to give a little background. Humble Choice is a monthly subscription service, giving subscribers at least 10 solid games each month. Each game you get will be free to download and yours to keep.
The cost of this subscription is $14.99, and one game alone in the Humble Bundle often exceeds the price of the Humble Subscription. The quality of the games in these bundles are also consistent, and for this March, we’ve got:
- Tempest Rising
- Chants of Sennaar
- SWORN,
- Etrian Odyssey III HD
- Bread & Fred
- Zero Hour
- Smalland: Survive the Wild
- Hard West 2
- Curse of Pirates Playtest
- One Month of IGN Plus
Tempest Rising is a modern real-time strategy title, heavily influenced by the Command and Conquer series, while Chants of Sennaar is a puzzle-adventure title focused on deciphering ancient languages within an enchanted tower.
The next title in line, SWORN, is a darker take on the classic Arthurian legend and is designed for both single-player and co-op gameplay.
Obviously, we are on TBL, so our attention goes to Hard West 2 as your go-to choice within this month’s Choice. While Ice Code Games has framed Hard West 2 as a “supernatural western” with Gin Carter searching for the Ghost Train, what sets the game apart is the battle rhythm.
The game’s Bravado System provides an incentive for aggressive play by restoring Action Points when you kill enemies; thus, battles are pushed away from the slow burn of attrition and toward a fast-paced back-and-forth that may involve risk-taking, changing position and the momentum of the battle.
This type of fast-paced battle rhythm is supported by dynamic battlefields, a posse system and multiple layers of upgrades through the Deck of Haunts, all of which make Hard West 2 more identifiable than a typical cover-based tactics game.
On the other hand, Etrian Odyssey III HD offers a vastly different take on turn-based design. The ATLUS remaster drops players into the underwater maze of Armoroad, and the focus of the game is on the construction of a party, routing a dungeon, and surviving the long journey.

The HD version maintains the same basic structure of the series (first person labyrinth exploration and a custom party constructed from twelve classes) and adds new features like modern graphics, difficulty selection, save slots and improved access to the Monstrous Codex, quest log and skill tree.
The rest of the bundle helps fill out the lineup with some additional titles. Bread & Fred adds chaotic co-op platforming, Zero Hour covers the tactical-shooter aspect of gaming with a focus on coordination and precision timing, and Smalland: Survive the Wild provides survival-crafting at a miniature scale.
And, in addition to that, we have another free play test for an interesting pirate-themed RPG, as well as a one-month trial subscription to IGN Plus.
So that is all I had to say about this; since there will be only a few days left until the end of march, get your subscriptions now, especially because you have the option to continue or cancel each subscription on a monthly basis. Here you can reach the Humble Choice Page.
