Beehive Studios and Team17 have set May 26, 2026 as the release date for LumenTale: Memories of Trey. The monster collector RPG is coming to PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch, and the date was revealed alongside a new release date trailer that I share here.
The game follows Trey, a boy trying to piece together his missing memories while traveling across Talea, a world shaped by war, old imperial divisions, and the protectors known as the Lumen. The game leans into creature collecting and party building through the Animon, mystical beings tied to a force called Anivis that can influence emotions and fight alongside their partners.
LumenTale: Memories of Trey mixes exploration with turn-based monster battles, including 1v1 encounters and 4v4 party fights.
Players will be able to catch roughly 140 Animon across 13 elemental types, trade them in multiple ways, cook and craft at Fountains, and train them inside a separate hub space called the Anispace. A demo is already available on Steam ahead of launch.
Looks like LumenTale is set to land somewhere between a traditional creature collector and a more story-driven JRPG, with its party structure and elemental matchups likely doing a lot of the heavy lifting in battle. Here you can find the Steam Page.
