Crossovers are still all the rage in the fighting game scene right now, and that includes a bunch of properties sitting far outside of the genre.
Krafton recently announced and launched their latest collaboration for PUBG Mobile with The King of Fighters.
Said PUBG x KOF event features a number of special costumes and accessories for all of those who so happen to be fans of both SNK games and the mobile battle royale.
Of course the biggest draw of the crossover are premium skins for Mai Shiranui, Iori Yagami and Nakoruru.
It appears these costumes can be obtained through the game’s gacha pull system or in the shop for 600 coins.
There’s also additional weapon skins, Mamahaha companion, emotes and more available themed around the SNK stars too.
This isn’t even the first time we’ve seen the battle royale property crossover with a fighting game since Street Fighter 6 collaborated with PUBG: Battlegrounds back in 2023 where the costume models looked a little off.

KOF’s models for the mobile game do at least look better though it’s still a little jarring seeing Nakoruru grown up in a more realistic style.
SNK are certainly no strangers when it comes to crossovers considering the now defunct King of Fighters Allstar had a bunch of collabs including Street Fighter 6, Virtua Fighter, Soul Calibur the WWE and plenty more over the years.
That goes for their fighting games too considering Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves got Street Fighter’s Chun-Li and Ken (along with Cristiano Ronaldo and Salvatore Ganacci). Plus, it’s looking like Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star is coming in Season 2.
The PUBG Mobile x King of Fighters event is scheduled to run through March 10.
