StarSavior is a new RPG from the developer of Counter:Side, Studio Bside, where you lead the Saviors and inherit the StarSavior’s power. If you are a new Savior and are looking for the best character, then this Character Tier List for StarSavior is for you.
Before you start your journey in the cosmos, you can also check the redeem codes article and learn how to claim rewards like Gold, Regular Hero Draw Ticket, and claim a great number of rewards. Also, see what CounterSide Colaboration rewards you will be getting here.
Ranking the Saviors based on gameplay in StarSavior
The game is a mix of Umamusume and Honkai Star Rail, along with rogue-like character builder and turn-based combat, which are two separate game types in the same game. In StarSavior, you’ve to train a Savior in the NOA Academy and then use the newly trained one in different PVP and PVE game modes.
You can’t just level up the saviors and put them in teams and hope for the best. The game runs on the Arcana card system, which is similar to Umamusume’s Support Card System. The game will then take your trained Savior as a relic to be used as an Artifact to boost your main Savior and get the team and their abilities boosted and ready for action.

Best Savior in StarSavior Overview
The game has 5 Different classes so far, and they are Ranger, Caster, Support, Striker, Assassin, and Shield. Other than classes, there are 5 different Elements the characters use. They are Sun, Moon, Star, Order, and Chaos. Although there are only two savior grades in the game, SSR and SR, we may expect a higher-tier savior unit in the future if we follow their previous game CounterSide’s units progression.

Ranger and Caster are ranged-based DPS while Supporters are the healers and help in buffing and debuffing. Assassin and Striker are melee-focused, close-range DPS and Defenders are the typical shield-focused tanks in the game.
So, choosing the right Savior based on the utility type is also key to having a winning team. Whether you’re pushing through Player vs Player mode or clearing story content, these are the best picks for each class type if you want to dominate every type of mode and keep your NOA academy progression on top.
Best S-tier Units in StarSavior
StarSavior Asherah (Supporter/Healer hybrid with massive utility)
Asherah is widely regarded as the single strongest unit in the current meta. She offers exceptional healing, debuff extension/removal, team-wide buffs (including crit or elemental damage amps), and strong control in prolonged fights.

Her abilities exploit enemy weaknesses exceptionally well in PvE stages with turn limits or debuff-heavy mechanics. Even at 0 dupes, she outperforms most units; dupes push Asherah into god-tier sustain/DPS support.
StarSavior Mureil (Debuff extender and control specialist)

Mureil prolongs enemy debuffs (ATK/DEF down, etc.), making her rise in stages with strict turn limits or heavy debuff reliance. Recent PvE designs favor Mureil’s kit, giving strong utility in mid-game progression.
StarSavior Bunnygirl Claire (High single-target DPS specialist)

Claire self-buffs through attacks, ramps up damage over turns, and delivers consistent burst. Fits well in boss-focused teams and provides reliable output when S-tier burst units aren’t available.
StarSavior Bunny Scarlet (High single-target Ranged DPS specialist)

Similar to Bunnygirl Clair, Scarlet self-buffs through attacks, ramps up damage over turns, and delivers consistent burst. Fits well in boss-focused teams and provides reliable output when S-tier burst units aren’t available.
StarSavior Hilde (The Tank for PvP)

One of the limited time units that is not only a heavy defense unit but a solid attacker with a lot of defensive capability. Hilde ramps up stacks of defensive stances by clearing debuffs on herself and gaining immunity between skill uses. Her DPS scales with her HP.
Final Thoughts
The current Starsavior PvP meta is heavily centered around the game’s new characters, who are designed with explosive kits and high-scaling damage potential, but often require very specific SSR support units to reach their full strength.
