Paris (France), 26th February 2026 – ST Engineering Antycip (Antycip), is expanding access to professional-grade wargaming software from Matrix Pro Sims for French defence organisations, supporting analysis, education, and training across multiple domains. The collaboration focuses on providing local access, training, and operational support in France, with the objective of expanding adoption across additional defence organisations and research bodies.
Matrix Pro Sims develops commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) wargaming and operational simulation software used by defence institutions worldwide to model complex scenarios across air, land, maritime, space and cyber environments. Its flagship platform, Command Professional Edition, enables defence users to explore multi-domain interactions, assess emerging concepts and evaluate operational options in a flexible and scalable environment.
Antycip has already introduced Matrix Pro Sims solutions to French defence organisations, delivering licences and training to users within the French Navy and the Direction Généralede l’Armement (DGA) for studies related to future capabilities, doctrine and operational concepts.
“Professional wargaming plays an increasingly important role in early-stage experimentation and capability development,” said Quentin Blancheri, Major Account Manager at Antycip. “By providing local access, training and operational support for Matrix Pro Sims software, we are enabling defence organisations to rapidly test ideas, compare options and build shared operational understanding across multiple entities.”
While current deployments are primarily used as standalone wargaming environments, both organisations see potential for broader adoption across distributed defence teams and collaborative experimentation initiatives.
Iain McNeil, CEO of Matrix Pro Sims said, “Matrix Pro Sims is excited to work with Antycip to bring our uniquely capable software to defence organisations in France. Our products combine the detail found in traditional defence simulations with the ease of use of consumer software.”
By combining professional wargaming tools with its broader portfolio of simulation, visualisation and training technologies, Antycip is able to support defence organisations across the full lifecycle, from early-stage concept exploration to mission rehearsal and training.
This collaboration is part of Antycip’s broader strategy to integrate best-of-breed partner technologies within its simulation ecosystem, enabling customers to access complementary capabilities through a coherent, locally supported solution stack.
