UNION GROVE — Narrowpath Martial Arts will host a community Daddy-Daughter Dance on Friday, Feb. 20, 2026, offering an evening focused on family connection and open to fathers, father figures, and daughters of all ages.
The event is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. at County Line Hall in Union Grove and is open to the public. Organizers say the goal is to create a welcoming environment for families, regardless of whether they have ties to Narrowpath Martial Arts.
The evening will include music, dancing, refreshments, photo opportunities, and keepsake moments. Families may attend with fathers, grandfathers, uncles, or any father figure. According to the release, daughters of all ages are encouraged to participate.
An event aimed at strengthening families
Eric Elliott, co-owner of Narrowpath Martial Arts & Dojo of Rock, said the dance reflects the organization’s focus on supporting local families. “Our mission has always been to strengthen families and build community,” Elliott said. “This event gives families a chance to slow down, connect, and create lasting memories together. We want to make this night special and accessible for everyone.”
This year’s planning includes the involvement of 17-year-old Ava Preston-Elliott, daughter of Angela and Eric Elliott. She has participated in Daddy-Daughter Dances with her father since childhood and is helping coordinate the event.
“I’ve loved going to Daddy-Daughter Dances with my dad ever since I was young,” she said. “Those nights are some of my favorite memories. Being able to help create that experience for other girls and their dads means a lot to me.”
Community support keeps the event accessible
Narrowpath Martial Arts noted that support from local sponsors helps keep ticket prices affordable. The event is intended to be accessible for families throughout southeast Wisconsin, with tickets now available. Ticket purchases can be made through the event’s online link.
Organizers encouraged community organizations, businesses, and local groups to share information about the dance. Sponsorship opportunities remain open for those interested in supporting the event.
