The course took place in three sessions – on February 28, March 7, and March 14 – at A FORJA Martial Arts School, and was led by Sensei Gustavo Cougo.
The training aimed to promote technical standardization within the organization, while also developing teaching methodology and preparing future instructors and senseis, strengthening the quality of instruction within KWU SENSHI.
The course was designed for practitioners holding green and brown belts and covered essential topics for instructor development, including:
Kyokushin methodology
Teaching methods for Kihon, Kata, and Kumite
Children’s pedagogy, focusing on playful and effective methods for teaching young students
Class management, including commands, etiquette, and organization on the tatami
This initiative reinforced KWU SENSHI’s commitment to the solid formation of its instructors, ensuring that technical knowledge was transmitted with quality, discipline, and respect for the traditions of full-contact Karate.
The course provided an important opportunity for participants to deepen their knowledge and prepare themselves for teaching and leadership responsibilities within the organization.
