On February 7, KWU SENSHI Chile held a landmark event for the development of full-contact Karate in the southern region of the country. The Karate Seminar led by Sensei Nicolás Valdivia, held at Playa Mehuín, San José de la Mariquina, brought together practitioners in a unique setting where martial training and nature blended in perfect harmony.
The event was recognized as the First Fight Camp in San José de la Mariquina, offering several hours of intensive combat-focused training aimed at improving the technical, physical, and mental aspects of all participants. The seminar’s structure reinforced the core values of Karate within KWU SENSHI: discipline, martial spirit, perseverance, and unity.
The seaside environment contributed to a distinctive and enriching experience, enhancing not only the technical quality of the training but also the human and collective dimension of the gathering. Initiatives like this strengthen the bonds among practitioners and support the continued growth of full-contact Karate in the region.
The event was organized by Dojo Kaizenkai Mariquina, under the coordination of Sensei Jorge Álvarez, who, together with his family, welcomed all participants with great respect and dedication. KWU SENSHI extends its sincere appreciation for the outstanding organization and hospitality.
We also express our gratitude to all KWU SENSHI Chile – Southern Zone dojos and practitioners who took part in the seminar, demonstrating strong energy, commitment, and a genuine willingness to push their limits along the martial path.
Events such as this reaffirm KWU SENSHI’s commitment to consistent technical development, character formation, and the strengthening of the full-contact Karate community.
