Powerplex, Dupli-Kate and Allen the Alien have all been recently revealed for Invincible Vs. As such, there are now a total of 16 fighters revealed for the game, meaning that there are only two that have yet to be shown for the base roster.
Justin Wong recently had the opportunity to get an early access sneak peek at Invincible Vs shortly after Dupli-Kate was revealed. It’s important to highlight that this video was seemingly recorded before Allen the Alien was revealed, so there’s no footage of him in the video.
For the upcoming Invincible Vs Open Beta, the characters that will be available will be Invincible, Atom Eve, Bulletproof, Thula, Rex Splode, Battle Beast, Omni-Man, Robot, Monster Girl and Allen the Alien.
As such, the video will be our best opportunity to take a look at characters like Dupli-Kate, Ella Mental and Powerplex since Wong and the Invincible Vs developer showcase them fairly well in the video.
One of Dupli-Kate’s supers effectively behaves as an install. Wong seems to enjoy playing Dupli-Kate since using that particular super makes her feel like Street Fighter’s Yun when he activates his Genei Jin super.
In total, there’s about 24 minutes of exclusive Invincible Vs footage. At random points of the video, the developer talks about some of the changes that they introduced based on feedback from the previous Closed Alpha.
