Though not everything that was one the menu before is back
We’re now just hours away from Guilty Gear Strive’s huge Version 2.00 update, but you can get a taste of what the new character is cooking up right now who’s coming out alongside it.
Arc System Works has released the official starter guide for Jam Kuradoberi in Guilty Gear Strive to show off what’s familiar and what’s new for the fighter.
They start out by showing off that Asanagi no Kokyuu has returned with the same down-down (22) inputs and can be charged for the cards similarly to the last game too.
Holding that charge, however, now makes her build all three cards at once instead of a MAX one like before.
The kick version still buffs Ryuujin and slash does Gekirin, but heavy slash now charges her new low kick Ryuutsui instead of Kenroukaku, which is gone from Jam’s movelist now.
Her Bakushuu command dash has returned as well as the Hyappo Shinshou follow-up though they don’t mention the others that were present in the Xrd games.
They have given her a command jump in Choujin now that lets her do her other standard specials afterwards.
And of course her Hochifu parry and counters are back again too.
We also just got to look at Jam’s color options in strive as well as the cook’s first match footage ahead of her impending release.
