eXoSpace Combat Engineer is an interesting title, perfect for those who love building spaceships of doom for endless battles against rival pirates for glory. It launched last month in Early Access, and while it is a bit clunky, there is potential here. A new update for the game dropped this week that should greatly improve performance on the Steam Deck.
This is a small patch that solely is for Steam Deck compatibility. eXoSpace Combat Engineer’s launcher is now skipped by default on SteamOS, which was previously causing issues. Vulkan is now the default render too, and this should make things better for us Steam Deck users. It’s a small update overall, but does streamline and make getting into the game so much easier and faster, which just makes the Deck experience better.
eXoSpace Combat Engineer is $14.99 on Steam.
