UFC boss Dana White has given his thoughts on the possibility of a Jon Jones return following his recent comments.
Another day, another series of questions surrounding the future of Jon Jones. The former light heavyweight and heavyweight UFC champion continues to toy with the idea of coming out of retirement, even though Dana White has already said before that it isn’t going to happen – and, spoiler, that’s the direction he’s leaning in again here.

Jones has carved out a great legacy for himself in terms of what he’s been able to achieve in the cage, but his many misdemeanours outside of it will forever tarnish his reputation in the eyes of many fans and pundits.
In a recent media scrum, Dana was asked about Jones, who recently suggested that being at UFC 327 was giving him a “fire” that he hadn’t had in a while.
White responds to Jones’ latest comments
When asked whether or not he has spoken to Jones about a possible return, Dana simply said “no”.
“And listen, how is that any different than Jon’s been in the last 10 years?” he added. “I used to tell Lorenzo, ‘You’ll never be able to build a business with this guy.’ But! When he does show up, it’s fun.”

Nobody really knows whether or not Jon is coming or going these days, but it appears as if he has pushed Dana to his limit. Who knows, maybe a U-turn is imminent, but it is looking increasingly unlikely – especially with the UFC not really needing big names like Jones anymore thanks to the nature of the Paramount deal.
