Banquet for Fools is heading to full release on March 5, 2026, and the developers have marked the countdown with a final video showcase and the seventh, and last, Early Access map update.
The new patch, Update 7.0, expands the playable content with two new settlements and more surrounding wilderness areas as players continue the search for the missing Din Varens, while also pushing the ongoing story beats tied to allies defending their holds and clearing out imp-related trouble.
This final Early Access content drop adds a large batch of maps, including Din Sera, Stairway Ruins, North Tower, Inela’s Eastern Pass, Dura-Mare, Porta Dun, and one secret area. Some sections, including parts of Porta Dun’s shopping content, remain blocked until the final update, and while ending scenarios are now present in the build, their slides and score screens are still unavailable until launch.
Alongside the new areas, the patch introduces a permanent HUD button in the top-left corner that lets players reset dock positions, which should help with interface cleanup during longer sessions.
Update 7.0 also includes smaller adventure and dialogue touches, such as a new guard quip when spotting a wheel in the forest, plus adjusted banter and compliments after brawls. You can find the changelog here.
