- Clash Royale confirms the CHAOS mode will be removed temporarily from rotation.
- A refreshed version is planned to return in July 2026 with a few additions and updates.
Clash Royale struck gold with the addition of CHAOS Mode into the game, and you can see so many players coming back and enjoying the fun that this mode brought, with crazy decks and combinations. While we log in to the game without this mode or its ladder for the next season, we do have some good news.
The makers have confirmed that “C.H.A.O.S” Mode will soon be taken out of rotation, with a refreshed version expected to return in July 2026.
Stats reveal 41% of players unlocked at least one Secret CHAOS Badge in Clash Royale
Clash Royale has confirmed that since its introduction, CHAOS Mode has seen strong engagement, with players experimenting with creative deck combinations and discovering hidden features like Secret CHAOS Mode Badges.

According to the team, 41% of players unlocked at least one badge, while only 2.4% managed to find all three. There are still three days to go, and if you still haven’t unlocked any of the three and need the steps to do so, this guide will help you.
However, over time, the mode began to lose some of its unpredictability. They noted that certain strategies started dominating matches, reducing the chaotic and experimental nature that originally defined the experience.
This was true in some cases that had stronger abilities, which they eventually banned for the rest of the season. As a result, the developers are temporarily removing the mode to rework and improve its overall balance and variety.
Looking ahead, several changes are already in development. These include an updated card pool with new additions and removals, adjustments to existing modifiers, and the introduction of new formats like Triple Draft.
Improvements to the interface and deck-building tools are also planned, along with the addition of a brand-new Secret Badge for us to discover is also mentioned. July is a little far away, though, but I feel we can wait for this mode since it has definitely piqued our interest back into the game.
