SEOUL, Oct. 21 (Yonhap) — A teenage woman riding an e-scooter was killed Tuesday after being hit by a military vehicle in the eastern city of Chuncheon, military officials and sources said.
The woman collided with a military vehicle at a crossroad in Chuncheon, some 85 kilometers northeast of Seoul, shortly before noon, the Army said.
She was taken to a nearby private hospital, but died of injuries, officials said.
The Army said police and military investigative authorities are looking into the exact circumstances of the death.
