OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – November 2025 – CCW Safe, a leader in Self-Defense Legal Coverage, is proud to announce its new lesson-based series, “The Armed Defender’s Dilemma.” Aiming to bridge the gap between firearm proficiency and the legal complexities of self-defense, this series was developed by self-defense litigation expert Shawn Vincent.
Alongside Vincent’s expertise, the 36 lessons of “The Armed Defender’s Dilemma” compiled in this series are built from more than a decade of real-world case analysis alongside criminal defense attorney Don West and firearms instructor Steve Moses. Their collective expertise ensures that the content is both accurate and practical for everyday concealed carriers.
Each month, CCW Safe will release a new lesson accompanied by an article, podcast and expert review of real-life situations related to the topic. This comprehensive approach is designed to provide concealed carriers with a deeper understanding of the legal responsibilities and potential consequences associated with the use of force in self-defense scenarios.
“There are numerous resources available for individuals to learn how to carry and shoot a firearm,” said Shawn Vincent. “However, there are few that delve into the intricate legal aspects of self-defense. I’ve seen several good-natured, law-abiding citizens face serious legal jeopardy for using a firearm to protect themselves. Our goal with this series is to educate and empower armed defenders to make informed decisions.”
