LHC Procurement Group has launched a £1bn framework to support construction and refurbishment of public buildings across Scotland.The four-year Public Buildings Construction and Infrastructure (PB4) framework, commissioned by LHC on behalf of the Scottish Procurement Alliance, covers new build, refurbishment and civil infrastructure work for public sector clients.It replaces the previous PB3 iteration and introduces 10 lots divided by value and scope, ranging from projects under £750,000 to jobs worth more than £25m.Options include traditional and modern methods of construction, including framed and panelised systems.The framework also includes lots for infrastructure work such as highways and drainage, hard facilities management,…

The Argentine Army is in a process of evaluating vehicles from the American company Oshkosh Defense with the objective of incorporating a 4×4 reconnaissance armored vehicle for the Brigades that make up the Rapid Deployment Force. WASHINGTON — California-based drone manufacturer Seasats today unveiled a new unmanned surface vessel, dubbed Quickfish, which it demonstrated for the Navy at a recent exercise, according to a company statement. The new USV is a “high-speed intercept vessel designed to provide positive video ID capabilities” of other maritime vessels on the open ocean.
