2026 AUSA ANNUAL MEETING & EXPOSITION–WASHINGTON, D.C. Elsight, a provider of mission-critical connectivity for uncrewed systems, announced its new positioning capability aimed at delivering accurate geolocation for autonomous platforms across air, land, and maritime domains in GPS-denied, -jammed, and -spoofed environments.
According to the Elsight announcement, its positioning capability is built on its own cellular-based solution that determines platform location using cellular network measurements, thereby enabling precise geolocation when GPS is unavailable, degraded, or actively spoofed. Further, a multisource fusion engine continuously layers in additional available inputs — including cellular timing advance (TA), surrounding base station signals, GPS when verified reliable, and motion and velocity vectors — to improve accuracy and resilience. Active GPS spoofing detection cross-references GPS against cellular-derived position in real time, triggering an alert when the two diverge.
Elsight’s positioning application is fully integrated into Halo, the company’s flagship mission-enablement product.
