Joe Rogan has signed an insane nin-figure deal with Spotify — again.
Rogan made headlines back in 2020 when he signed an exclusive 3.5 year deal with Spotify for over $100 million dollars. Despite almost getting cancelled during the pandemic, Spotify re-upped with the comedian and UFC color commentator for another $250 million in 2024. This time the deal was non-exclusive, allowing Rogan to return to YouTube.
It’s been another two years. So it’s time for another $250 million. According to The Wall Street Journal, Spotify and Rogan have renewed their vows once again for a similar nine-figure number. So by 2028, Rogan will have earned north of half a billion dollars off Spotify alone.
Not bad for a guy who started out selling pocket p–sies on his podcast.
“The partnership with Spotify has been an amazing fit, and they’re incredible to work with,” Rogan told the Wall Street Journal in a statement. “I’m extremely happy and excited to continue with them for years to come.”
The Joe Rogan Experience has been the top podcast in North America for over a decade and held onto that title in recent years despite some contenders nipping at his heels for short periods of time. Edison Research has put forward numbers estimating listenership to The Joe Rogan Experience at 28.4 million Americans per month in 2026.
Joe certainly doesn’t need the money he’s making to work the commentary booth for UFC. Fortunately for fans, it’s always been a labor of love, and Rogan has shown no signs of stopping.
