“Hammerin’” Hank Lundy has a date for his first BKB fight. The Philadelphia boxing veteran is set to compete at Bally’s Fightnight by BKB on Friday, November 20, at the Rollins Center inside Bally’s Dover Casino Resort in Dover, Delaware. It will be BKB’s first event at the property and, according to the promotion, its first in the state.
The booking gives Lundy a location for the bare-knuckle debut BKB promised when it signed him to a multi-fight deal in July. At the time, the promotion had no opponent or event to announce. Now the 42-year-old knows where he will step into BKB’s triangular fighting enclosure, the Trigon, even if he does not yet know who will be across from him. Lundy brings a reported professional boxing record of 32-14-1, with 14 knockouts.

He spent much of his career at lightweight before competing at super lightweight. His best-known world-title opportunity came in February 2016, when he faced Terence Crawford for the WBO super lightweight championship at Madison Square Garden’s Theater. Crawford stopped him in the fifth round. That result is one part of a long list of high-level assignments.
Lundy also boxed Viktor Postol, Thomas Dulorme, Mauricio Herrera, Ray Beltran and John Molina Jr. His career titles include the WBO NABO and NABF lightweight belts, plus WBC Silver titles at lightweight and super lightweight. After the Crawford fight, he won the vacant UBF lightweight title later in 2016.
Lundy announced his retirement following a loss to Kurt Scoby in June 2023, but subsequently returned to boxing. His move to BKB is therefore a change of format rather than his first comeback. The question now is how his experience in gloved boxing carries over when he makes his first appearance in the Trigon. A record built over nearly two decades tells fans plenty about whom he has faced; it cannot settle that question before the bell.
“I’ve fought all over the world and against some of the best in boxing, but I’m always looking for the next challenge,” Lundy said in the event announcement. He called Dover “right in my backyard” and said he was coming to put on a show.
BKB CEO David Tetreault said the promotion had Lundy’s style in mind when it signed him and was eager to see his first Trigon appearance.
“We knew when we signed Hank that his style and mentality were made for BKB, and now we finally get to see him inside the Trigon. He’s been in there with some of the best fighters in the world, and having him make his BKB debut at Bally’s Fightnight by BKB is a great way to introduce him to our fans.”
General manager Nicholas Polcino said the venue was a fit for BKB and welcomed the chance to bring fight fans to the property.
