UFC bantamweight veteran Raoni Barcelos has not yet been cleared to leave the hospital following his UFC Vegas 121 medical scare last weekend at Meta Apex, but the Brazilian is well enough to post on social media.
All you need for that is a couple of fingers and a tolerance for toxicity.
All’s well that ends well?
“Hey guys, I want to let you all know that I’m doing great and as soon as I can I will send you all a video,” Barcelos wrote on Instagram. “Thank you so much for everyone’s love and prayers! I promised a great fight and I fulfilled what I promised. Thank you God and everyone who fought together with me inside and out of that cage.”

It’s way too early to speculate as to when the 39-year-old Barcelos will return to the cage, if he returns at all. Athletic commissions have been known to bench fighters for up to a year for brain-scrambling knockouts and we still don’t have anything concrete from the doctor (or doctors) who evaluated him.
