Top 155-pound contender Arman Tsarukyan will be donning new custom shorts for his upcoming fight.
Tsarukyan is going to lock horns with Mauricio Ruffy this weekend in the co-main event of UFC 331. The Armenian fighter has previously stated that he plans to change his nickname from “Ahalkalakets” to “Batman” ahead of this fight. He will also walk out to his friend and popular streamer N3on’s track “She Wanna Hang With A Indian,” with N3on set to be part of his corner on Saturday night.
The design of Tsarukyan’s custom shorts revealed by the UFC today features a black design with subtle elements that appear to hint at his new “Batman” nickname.

Arman Tsarukyan has also hired a new nutritionist before UFC 331
Arman Tsarukyan has hired a professional nutritionist to help him before the UFC 331 bout so that he does not have to go through a drastic weight cut. In a recent video, his new nutritionist explained what they will do differently this time to help the 29-year-old. He said:
“Because we need to make weight, that’s a very demanding process. But I try to make the whole process a little more enjoyable. So instead of relying on that old bodybuilding approach where you have rice and broccoli and chicken, we will use different foods or different toppings in a way that, yes, we drop the weight, but at the same time we also enjoy the process.”

Tsarukyan believes if he loses to Ruffy, he will never be able to fight for the UFC lightweight title. Meanwhile, Dana White has refused to call Tsarukyan vs. Ruffy a No. 1 contender fight and will decide who the next 155-pound title challenger is after the fight, depending on how it plays out.
