Umar Nurmagomedov has returned to training after his brutal knockout loss to Song Yadong.
The 30-year-old Russian, who took on Yadong a couple of weeks ago in the main event of UFC Shanghai, was knocked out cold in the second round. It was the first time he had been finished in his 22-fight MMA career, also ruining his chances of getting another shot at the UFC Bantamweight title.
10 days after his KO loss, Nurmagomedov shared a post on Instagram showing him back at the gym. He also shared the same photo on his Stories, with the caption (translated from Russian via Cage Pulse/X):
If you’ve been in the gym your whole life and don’t know what else to do besides working out. I need it.

Great to see you brother!
