This past weekend at ACBJJ 22, former UFC star Zabit Magomedsharipov returned to action after seven years and locked horns with No. 9 UFC 145-pound contender Youssef Zalal.
After a closely contested grappling match in which both fighters had their moments, Zabit edged ahead on the judges’ scorecards to secure a unanimous decision victory.

Zabit Magomedsharipov’s post win speech
During the post-fight interview, Zabit praised Zalal’s skill set and thanked him for accepting the bout after Zabit’s original opponent, Raul Rosas Jr., was forced to withdraw. He said:
“Peace be upon you all! Thank you to everyone who showed up tonight. In the end, I’m glad I could put on a show and get the win. He’s a tough opponent, and I really appreciate him taking the fight. I guess I’ll see you back in eight years. What do you think? That’s all for now. Thank you so much, everyone. I’m truly grateful to be back and competing here tonight.”

After testing himself against Youssef Zalal, Zabit Magomedsharipov has now set his sights back on Raul Rosas Jr. He wants his next ACBJJ outing against “El Niño Problema” for the title.
Former UFC star sends message to Dana White after title win at ACBJJ 22
Undefeated flyweight star Muhammad Mokaev defeated Moris Boleian via decision this past weekend to capture the ACBJJ 60 kg Grand strap. After the title win, “The Punisher” sent a message to UFC CEO Dana White:
“Dana said two years ago, ‘Become champion somewhere else.’ I became BRAVE CF champion, ACBJJ champion, 5 fights, 4 finishes, staying busy and showing the world why I’m the best flyweight in the world.”
