September 01, 2026 – Omnisys, an Ondas Inc. (NASDAQ: ONDS) company and a leading provider of AI-powered mission optimization and decision-support systems for defense and homeland security, today introduced BRO™-API, a new bidirectional integration layer that connects its AI-powered BRO™ (Battle Resource Optimization) mission planning and decision-making platform directly with existing C2 and C4I systems. This is a valuable evolution of the suite of BRO systems which are combat proven with the IDF and under contract with several NATO customers in Europe. The new capability enables commanders to continuously optimize operational plans based on the live operational picture, shortening the commander’s decision loop from hours to minutes or less.
Based on the Situational Awareness data from C4I, BRO™ enables commanders to achieve Situational Understanding, evaluate operational alternatives, optimize the deployment of sensors and effectors, and generate optimized Courses of Action. Until now, these capabilities operated primarily as a separate mission planning platform. With BRO-API, BRO becomes an integrated operational capability that continuously exchanges information with existing command-and-control systems throughout the mission and supports the Decision and Act phases of the OODA loop.
The interface continuously receives updated operational data, including Blue Force deployment and readiness, operational events and the Red Force picture, and generates optimized recommendations on deployment, routing, frequencies allocation and more. Mission re-planning results and operational insights are fed directly into the command-and-control system.
With this ongoing synchronization of mission plans with the evolving operational picture, BRO-API closes the decision loop, enabling commanders to respond to changing battlefield conditions while they are still operationally relevant.
Designed for operational defense environments, BRO-API supports classified and disconnected networks, controlled permissions, secure message logging and standard RESTful integration. The interface is built according to defense interoperability principles and supports future compatibility with NATO and U.S. military standards.
In addition to ongoing mission optimization, BRO-API maintains the entire lifecycle of operational missions, supporting comprehensive After-Action Review (AAR), lessons learned and continuous mission improvement.
