FORT BLISS, Texas — Soldiers, Families and leaders assigned to Task Force Stallion, 3rd Battalion, 362nd Infantry Regiment, and Task Force Kodiak, 2nd Battalion, 362nd Field Artillery Regiment, gathered at Biggs Park, Aug. 7, 2026, to celebrate the 362nd Regiment birthday.
Both battalions, assigned to 5th Armored Brigade, recognized the occasion with opening remarks from their command teams and a ceremonial cake-cutting featuring Lt. Col. Daniel Marshall, commander of Task Force Stallion, and Lt. Col. Noah Switzer, commander of Task Force Kodiak.
The celebration brought Soldiers and Families from both organizations together for fellowship and friendly competition. Participants took part in volleyball and cornhole games while Families spent time connecting with members of the formation outside the regular training environment.
The event concluded with a trophy presentation and group photos, recognizing participants and reinforcing the shared identity of the 362nd Regiment. The birthday celebration provided an opportunity for Task Force Stallion and Task Force Kodiak to honor their heritage, strengthen esprit de corps and build lasting connections among Soldiers and Families.
