WEST PALM BEACH, Florida. Mistral Inc., an Ondas company, received a U.S. Army order worth more than $50 million for tactical lethal uncrewed systems under a previously awarded $982 million multiyear contract, the company announced in a statement.
The order was issued through an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract supporting the Army’s Lethal Unmanned Systems (LUS) program, the statement reads. Combined with an initial $190.8 million award, Mistral’s orders under the program now exceed $240 million.
Mistral is producing systems for deliveries scheduled to begin during the third quarter of 2026 under the initial order, the company says. The new award extends production under the same Army contract and may include future integration, training, and sustainment work.
Ondas acquired Mistral to add U.S. defense contracting, manufacturing, and program-management capabilities to its portfolio of autonomous and precision-strike systems, according to the statement.
The company says the order supports its work in tactical strike systems, loitering munitions, mission planning, target identification, autonomous operations, and post-mission assessment.
