Wanda Cinemas Games has officially opened pre-registration for its new idle strategy RPG, Transformers: Eternal War, on both Android and iOS. First announced in 2024, the game is being developed in partnership with Hasbro as an officially licensed title based on the legendary Transformers franchise. It is also already available in a soft launch across select regions.
Recruit iconic Autobots and Decepticons to build the ultimate tactical squad
So, the Transformers: Eternal War lets you assemble a legendary team of Autobots and Decepticons and lead them into strategic squad-based battles. Here, each Transformers like Bumble Bee and Optimus Prime belongs to one of the five combat classes, including Vanguard, Assault, Firepower, Recon, and Support, while also carrying unique traits like Fearless, Dynamic, and more.
You need to focus on team-building by combining class abilities, character traits, and syngery bonuses to create effective lineups. Alongside collecting familiar faces like Megatron, Grimlock, Soundwave, Starscream, and more from the Transformer universe, you can also experience new storylines created exclusively for the game, which I think adds more depth beyond the combat.
From what I’ve seen so far in soft launch, the game looks like an enjoyable adaptation thanks to the blend of iconic characters, strategic team composition, cool 3D character models, flashy battle sequences, a combat system built around synergies and counters, and more. That said, I did expect more from the game beside being a idle RPG but I’m still excited to try it out.
