The big Season 4 update for Street Fighter 6 is now just a week away, but this past year has given us four interesting characters that each brought something new to the table.
Longtime player and Alex fan Twisted Rivera just released his final Season 3 match up chart for the pro wrestler where things aren’t really looking great right now for the big guy.
The first thing Twisted Rivera does is delete the 6-4 section of his chart because he doesn’t feel like Alex actually has a notable advantage against anyone on the Street Fighter 6 roster right now.
At the very least, this Alex main believes he can at least go even with some of the stronger members of the cast like Blanka, Akuma, Cammy, Mai, Terry and Juri, so at least it’s not all bad news.
As for who the hybrid grappler struggles against, Twisted Rivera includes many of the fighters with zoning tools like JP, Guile and Sagat along with those with long reach or armor like Marisa, Elena and M. Bison.
Then there’s one character in particular he thinks Alex should just “give up” against, though, we’re not going to spoil it here just yet — but you could probably take a good guess.
This list certainly doesn’t seem far-fetched from what we’ve seen out of Alex’s performance since he launched in March.
CR|Dual Kevin recently rated Alex in the lower third of his Street Fighter 6 tier list, and the character didn’t have a great showing on the big stages at Evo 2026 and Combo Breaker 2026 these past few months either.
So Alex players are probably hoping Santa Capcom brings him some nice presents for the Season 4 update, which is scheduled to release with Yasmine on August 3.
